Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work for paid AgenTorQ subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
- New accounts start with a 30-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial.
- If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never billed — nothing to refund.
- If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and the first payment is charged for the upcoming period.
2. Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or, where offered, annually) at the price shown on our Pricing page.
- Each subscription auto-renews at the start of every billing period until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise this recurring charge.
- Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; your card details are handled by them and are never stored on our servers.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time from your account's billing settings (or by emailing us).
- On cancellation, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then does not renew.
- We do not automatically refund the unused part of a period that has already started, except as set out below or where required by law.
4. Refund eligibility
AgenTorQ is a digital subscription service, so fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. As a goodwill exception:
- 7-day money-back on your first payment. If you are charged for your first paid period and are not satisfied, email us within 7 days of that charge and we will refund it in full.
- Annual plans: if you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the charge and have not made substantial use of the Service, contact us and we will review a pro-rated or full refund.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card provider.
- These goodwill windows do not limit any non-waivable rights you have under your local consumer law.
5. Third-party & BYOK costs
AgenTorQ lets you bring your own AI provider keys and connect your own accounts. Any charges you incur directly with those third parties (AI model usage, connector or MCP services, etc.) are between you and that provider and are not billed or refundable by AgenTorQ.
6. Billing errors & duplicates
If you believe you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a valid cancellation, contact us and — once verified — we will refund the incorrect amount in full, regardless of the windows above.
7. Chargebacks
If something looks wrong, please email us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of the account while the dispute is investigated.
8. How to request a refund
Email reachout@agentorq.com from your account email with:
- the account email used to subscribe,
- the approximate date and amount of the charge, and
- a brief reason for the request.
We aim to respond within a few business days.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; we will change the “Last updated” date above, and the version in effect when you were charged applies to that charge.
